These Terms govern your use of WorkPet.ai (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use WorkPet.ai. Please also review our Privacy Policy, which is part of these Terms.
You must be at least 13 years old to use WorkPet.ai (16 in some countries where local law requires it). By creating an account, you confirm that you meet this age requirement and that the information you provide is accurate. If you're using WorkPet.ai on behalf of someone else or an organization, you confirm you have the authority to do so.
You're responsible for keeping your password secure and for any activity on your account. Don't share your account with others. Notify us at support@workpet.ai if you suspect unauthorized access. We're not responsible for losses caused by stolen or shared credentials.

We may suspend, restrict, or terminate accounts that violate these rules, with or without notice, at our discretion.
There is zero tolerance for objectionable content and for abusive users. Don't post content that's harassing, hateful, threatening, sexually explicit, or otherwise objectionable, and don't abuse other people using the Service.
You can report anything another user posts or sends you, and you can block anyone. A block stops that person contacting you. We review every report and remove content or accounts that break these rules.
You own the tasks, messages, display names, and other content you create on WorkPet.ai ("Your Content"). By posting public content (display name, public task completions, messages to other users, profile information), you give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, and display Your Content as needed to operate the Service. This license ends when you delete Your Content or your account, except where we need to retain copies for legal, backup, or operational reasons (see our Privacy Policy on data retention).
You're responsible for Your Content. Don't post anything you don't have the right to share. We don't review content before it's posted (some text is checked automatically), but we can remove anything that violates these Terms.
Some pet messages, tips, and chat replies are generated by AI based on your tasks and inputs. AI output:
If you're experiencing a mental health crisis or thinking about hurting yourself, please contact a real-world resource like 988 (in the U.S.) or your local emergency services — not your pet. WorkPet.ai is a productivity game, not a therapist or a friend.
We don't guarantee 100% uptime or that the Service will be error-free. We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, with or without notice. The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and uninterrupted operation.
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
You agree to defend and hold WorkPet.ai (and its operators) harmless from claims, losses, or expenses arising out of: your violation of these Terms, Your Content, your misuse of the Service, or your violation of someone else's rights. We'll handle our own defense and won't ask you to pay our lawyers — this clause exists in case your actions cause us to be sued by a third party.
You can delete your account at any time from Settings → Delete account → Delete my account, or by emailing support@workpet.ai. When you delete your account, we erase your data per our Privacy Policy.
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, if required by law, or if we discontinue the Service. We'll give you reasonable notice when feasible, but not always — for example, if your behavior is harming other users.
Sections meant to survive (Acceptable use, Your content license to us, AI disclaimer, Limitation of liability, Indemnification, Dispute resolution, and Miscellaneous) remain in effect after termination.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Minnesota, United States, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Minnesota, and you consent to personal jurisdiction there.
If you live in the European Union, United Kingdom, or another jurisdiction where local consumer-protection law applies, nothing in these Terms removes the rights you have under that law, and you may bring claims in your local courts where required by law.
Before filing any formal claim, please email support@workpet.ai so we can try to resolve it informally first. Most issues can be fixed with a quick conversation.
We may update these Terms. When we do, we'll update the date at the top. For material changes, we'll notify you by email or an in-app notice before the changes take effect. If you keep using the Service after a change takes effect, you've accepted the new Terms. If you don't agree, you can stop using the Service and delete your account.
These Terms (together with the Privacy Policy) are the entire agreement between you and us about the Service. If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest remain in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of our right to enforce it later. You can't transfer your rights under these Terms without our written consent; we may assign our rights and obligations.
